DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) – Recreational marijuana sales are a step closer to becoming reality in Minnesota.

The Office of Cannabis Management announced Tuesday it submitted its proposed rules for governing legal cannabis.

An administrative law judge is looking over the rules before making a decision.

The judge has 14 days to approve, approve with changes, or disapprove.

If approved, the state agency can begin issuing cannabis business licenses.
