Mint Cannabis will honor Veterans Day by doubling its everyday Veterans discount to 44% on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at its St. Peters dispensary.

The dispensary, located at 150 Mid Rivers Mall Circle, typically provides Veterans a 22% discount year-round — the highest regular Veterans discount offered by any dispensary in Missouri. The 22% discount represents the 22 Veterans who die by suicide each day in the United States.

“‘It is time that we recognize the psychological toll that Veterans face,’” said Rudy Molina, vice president of operations for Mint Cannabis. “‘Job-related stress, trauma, physical demands, and long hours have real psychological consequences. While the stresses are relentless, members of our military are supposed to be tough. The perceived stigma surrounding mental health problems keeps many from seeking help.’”

With nearly half a million Veterans living in Missouri, Mint Cannabis aims to highlight the challenges faced by former service members, including high rates of post-traumatic stress disorder, unemployment, and homelessness.

   

Veterans can receive the discount by presenting valid military identification, such as a Military ID or U.S. Uniformed Services Identification Card, at checkout.
