Nebraska Gov. Pillen accepting applications to fill empty seat on Medical Cannabis Commiss

LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) – Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen has accepted the resignation of the Chairwoman of Nebraska’s Medical Cannabis Commission, and is now taking applications to fill the role.
In a statement released Tuesday, Gov. Pillen thanked Dr. Monica Oldenburg for her work on the commission.

The deadline to apply is March 3 at 5 p.m.
Members of the Medical Cannabis Commission serve six-year terms, and the appointment is subject to legislative confirmation.
