New cannabis dispensary opening in Point Arena • The Mendocino Voice

POINT ARENA, CA., 3/2/25 – A new cannabis dispensary is slated to open in downtown Point Arena.
The dispensary is owned by The Goldenhour Collective, a self-described family-owned cannabis dispensary with one location in Weed, Calif. The dispensary will be located at 138 Main St., most notably known as the site of the colorful hummingbird-laden mural “Sanctuary” by Nicole Ponsler.
It will be the first new dispensary in Point Arena since The Green Room closed two years ago.
The Goldenhour Collective specializes in cannabis “ethically grown with love from local and family-owned growers.” The company sources much of its product from Mendocino and Humboldt counties.
The company is led by chief executive officer David Spradlin, who has led efforts to unionize the industry stemming back to 2011. He also created the first state-authorized apprenticeship program for cannabis workers.
The Goldenhouse Collective is currently hiring and hopes to open the Point Arena location in the spring. Contact hello@goldenhourcollective.org for more information.
