(ABC 6 News) — A new cannabis business in LeRoy is close to being given the green light to open up shop.

It will be located near Bear’s Smoke Shop on Main Street, but it will be a completely separate business as required by Minnesota law.

It will be called MHA Academy, which will be opening right behind the smoke shop.

Work on the new shop continues as the dispensary’s owners are waiting for the final inspection from the Office of Cannabis Management, which is set for November 6.
