Capital District Cannabis & Wellness has opened a new location in Halfmoon.

Established in 2022, the company also operates stores in Schenectady and Albany. Owner Aurora Wood is dedicated to providing trusted, state-licensed cannabis to Upstate New York.

“We are women owned, veteran owned and minority owned. We are excited to be here,” said Wood. “We have an incredible and very knowledgeable staff who can recommend people to whatever products they may be looking for, whether it’s sleep, pain or something they want to have a good time with.”

Wood and her team aim to create a unified cannabis marketplace that connects consumers, cultivators and communities. Customers age 21 and older can shop in store or preorder products online for pickup or delivery.
