LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – KY Med Cards had a grand opening for their new Louisville clinic on Saturday.

The group says its goal is to make getting a medical cannabis card easy.

They offer appointments with their clinicians who streamline the process for customers and work to find out if they qualify for the cards.

Today, they had an open house at their new location on Bardstown Road.

“It’s not something that is widely accessible for people to know about, for people to access themselves. So, KY Med Cards makes it easier for them,” KY Med Cards Clinical Manager Anthony Munger said. “We walk them through, we hold their hand through all of the certification, through all the licenses, through all of the applications.”

The clinic will be open most days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

They say if you do not qualify for a card, you will not be charged for your appointment.
