COPLEY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) -The Copley Police Department received a singular report of a child receiving a piece of candy that may have contained cannabis.

The police department said the child received the candy in the Brenner neighborhood.

The piece of candy was described as a sucker in a green wrapper, has been identified and recovered by the police department.

The Copley Police Department encourages parents and guardians to carefully inspect their children’s Halloween candy and report any suspicious items.
