NORTHFIELD, Vt. (WCAX) – Two Norwich University students have been charged with stealing $30,000 in property from a cannabis farm.

It happened two weeks ago at the Off Piste Farm in Sutton. A neighbor’s game camera captured two suspects heading toward the property. Vermont State Police say the stolen 15 pounds of marijuana was found in Northfield last week.

With help from local businesses and members of the public, police identified Isaaic Fletcher, 18, as one suspect. They say Bryam Ramirez, 22, turned himself in Sunday night. Both students are from Florida.

Fletcher was charged with grand larceny and released on conditions.

Ramirez faces multiple charges, including selling cannabis, and was cited to appear in court in June.
