The Orange County Power Authority (OCPA) has launched two new rebate programs totaling $250,000 to support renewable energy for residential customers in its member cities.

1. EV Charger Rebate Program: This program offers up to a $1,000 rebate for Level 2 hard-wired EV chargers purchased through the OCPA Marketplace. Rebates will be available starting May 1, 2025.

2. Solar Battery Rebate Program: Homeowners can receive a $1,000 rebate for rooftop solar installations that include battery storage, or for standalone battery systems if they already have solar panels. This program will begin in July 2025.

These rebates are in addition to existing incentives and tax credits available for clean energy initiatives. OCPA will also create a webpage to provide further details about all savings opportunities related to clean energy.
