Pilgrim’s to invest $1.3 billion in Mexico by 2030

MEXICO CITY, Jan 15 (Reuters) – ​Mexico’s Economy ‌Minister Marcelo ‌Ebrard said on Thursday that poultry ⁠producer ‌Pilgrim’s will invest $1.3 billion ‍in the country in the ​next five ‌years.

The investment will allow Mexico to reduce its ⁠current ​chicken imports ​by 35%, the minister ‍added.
