CHICAGO (WLS) — A Chicago engineering firm is working to diversify the future pool of talented engineers.

Pinpoint Precision Engineering is one of only a few Black-owned engineering companies in the city, but it’s hoping to change that.

Their mission is to inspire and support a new, more diverse generation of STEM professionals. Michael Bempah, president of Pinpoint Precision Engineering, joined ABC7 to talk about the company’s scholarships and community programs.
