Police allegedly seize over 17 pound of cannabis while executing a search warrant at a Norwalk smoke shop that has been raided three times.
Norwalk Police Department‘s Special Services Division, with assistance from the Patrol Division and the State of Connecticut Drug Control Division, executed a search and seizure warrant on Tuesday at R&R Smoke Shop and Convenience, located at 213 Main St, according to police.
Police said approximately 17.319 pounds of cannabis and $749 in U.S. currency were seized as evidence.
According to police, this was the third time the smoke shop was raided within the last four months.
Abdias Joel Feliz-Garcia, 27, of New Haven was taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to sell one kilogram or more of cannabis, sale of one kilogram or more of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia and was being held on a $55,000 bond. He was also charged with sale of cannabis for a separate incident and issued a second $55,000 bond. He is schedule to appear in court on April 1, police said.
