Popular Amazon children’s products recalled for choking hazard, safety concerns

Multiple popular children’s toys and baby products have been recalled in the months leading up to Christmas.
Check this list of products recently sold by Amazon and recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission,
Some products may have serious safety risks, like potential choking, entrapment or battery ingestion. Check the CPSC for additional product information.
- HydroJug 14-ounce Children’s Sport Tumblers, sold at Academy Sports, Scheels, Combined Sales Company, Gordons Ace Hardware, Bucks Ace, Kents Grocery, Basin Sports and online at Hydrojug.com, Amazon.com and others. Products with serial number 235010 have a handle with the potential to detach and cause a choking hazard.
- CreateOn Crayola-branded pip-Cubes, sold on Amazon and Michael’s; “building cubes contain magnets that can become loose if the seams separate, posing an ingestion hazard to children,” according to the CPSC.
- YCXXKJ Baby Bath Seats sold on Amazon by BenTalk; 8,960 bath seats were recalled for instability and potential to tip over creating the risk of drowning or injury. The bath seats were sold online from May 2024 through October 2025.
- Casaottima 13-Drawer Dressers, which were sold on Amazon by Cassotima in black, black and vintage, gray, and pink; recalled for being potentially unstable and tipping over.
- KTEBO Writing Tablet Toy, sold on Amazon between September and October 2025; the battery is not safely secured and may come off and be swallowed.
- Uuoeebb Infant Walkers sold on Amazon by BaoD; 2,650 units were recalled because the walkers can fit through a standard doorway and do not stop at the edge of a step. The walkers were also found to have large leg openings that posed a risk of injury or death if a child’s head became stuck. The walkers were sold from December 2024 through September 2025.
- SKCAIHT Children’s Little Mermaid Costumes sold on Amazon by SKCAIHT Direct; about 1,300 costumes were recalled for having a banned phthalate that is toxic to children if consumed. They were sold on Amazon from March 2022 through July 2025.
