Arrest after ‘sophisticated’ cannabis factory uncovered
A man has been arrested after cannabis with an estimated street value of about £120,000 was seized in Portadown, County Armagh.
Police made the discovery after officers were called to an address in Broomhill around 01:00 BST on Saturday.
Det Sgt Martin said a “sophisticated” cannabis factory had been uncovered in a property.
The 30-year-old man is being questioned on suspicion of possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply and cultivation of cannabis.
He remains in custody.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
