Prime Video has dropped the trailer for Deep Cover, a high-energy action comedy from Amazon MGM Studios, slated to release on June 12, 2025. Directed by Tom Kingsley, the film stars Bryce Dallas Howard in a wildly unexpected role as an improv comedy teacher turned accidental infiltrator of London’s criminal underworld. The film follows Kat (Bryce Dallas Howard), a struggling improv teacher who starts to believe she’s missed her shot at greatness. But everything changes when a jaded undercover cop (Sean Bean) ropes her into a dangerous scheme, offering her what she thinks is the “role of a lifetime.” Instead of a part on stage, she’s tasked with infiltrating London’s gangland by pretending to be a criminal.
