Public meeting to be held on renewable energy projects in Brunswick County

BALD HEAD ISLAND, N.C. (WECT) -A public meeting on renewable energy projects in Brunswick County will be held this week.

According to the Village of Bald Head Island, government agencies are working to engage local communities on the projects as part of the Carolinas Renewable Energy Development Assistance and Siting Hub.

The meetings focus on solar and wind energy projects and citizens are invited to attend to inform the development process. Their perspectives will help form an online technical assistance hub with resources for communities across the Carolinas.

The Brunswick County meeting is on April 3 from 6-7:15 p.m. at the Brunswick County Center, 25 Referendum Dr NE.
