Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday praised the Economic Survey, saying it paints a picture of a resilient Indian economy marked by strong macroeconomic fundamentals and sustained growth despite global uncertainties.
Presented in Parliament by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the Economic Survey 2025-26 also stresses the government’s focus on inclusive development, with special emphasis on farmers, MSMEs, job creation for youth, and social welfare measures.
