Prior to relocating to the United States, Kwok was based in London, where she covered mergers and acquisitions activity in the Middle East and the global metals and mining sector for Reuters Breakingviews. Her reporting examined transaction trends, corporate strategy, and capital markets activity across industries undergoing significant structural change.

Her background includes extensive experience covering energy and financial markets. Before joining Breakingviews, she reported on European gas and power markets for S&P Global Platts, providing coverage of commodities, energy pricing, and market developments across the region.

Kwok also worked at Morningstar UK, where she covered funds and equities, giving her experience analyzing investment strategies and public markets. Earlier in her career, she spent time at Bloomberg.
