One of the many amazing things about a Rivian is that improvements and enhancements can be made via over-the-air software updates. This month’s update focuses on handling and ride comfort.

We’ve improved the vehicle’s suspension characteristics without it ever having to visit a Service Center. This over-the-air software update improves ride quality across all drive modes and ride heights in the following ways:

• Increased ride comfort in All-Purpose mode + Soft Ride suspension setting and improved balance between ride and

• Reduced abruptness when driving over sharp road impacts in all drive modes, and reduced harshness when driving over bumps and dips at parking lot speeds

  Additional new features in this month’s software update include:

• New Drive Mode Option in Rivian Mobile App Trip Planner

• New Set Speed Option for Adaptive Cruise Control and Highway Assist

• New in-vehicle phone call features including mute, merge swap and hold controls

• Driver+ now generates a preemptive warning when a reduction in lane line visibility prevents Highway Assist from sustaining performance

• New Screen Clean feature disables the in-vehicle screens for cleaning without pressing buttons
