ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Two men face charges after police searched a Rockford home.

Christian Daniel, 19, of Rockford, is charged with intent to deliver cannabis.

Larenzo Kinard, 45, of Rockford, is charged with not having a valid FOID.

Rockford police say they got multiple complaints about a home in the 3400 block of Ridge Avenue.

Detectives launched an investigation and got a search warrant for the home.

During the search Tuesday, June 24, detectives say they found more than 300 grams of cannabis, packaging materials and a handgun.

Daniel was taken into custody at the county jail, while Kinard was given a notice to appear.
