Gasgoo Munich- On June 15, data from business tracker Tianyancha showed Shenzhen Astrall Dynamics Technology Co., Ltd. added new shareholders, including Dongfang Precision and a venture capital fund backed by SAIC Motor. The move lifts the startup’s registered capital from roughly 57.78 million yuan to 67.33 million yuan.

Founded in June 2024 with Ou Di as legal representative, the firm specializes in R&D, manufacturing, and sales of smart robots and motor control systems. 

According to its website, Astrall Dynamics is a full-stack developer and producer of high-performance embodied AI robots and core components for both industrial and consumer markets.

Earlier this month, Astrall Dynamics also signed a partnership agreement with the Shenzhen branch of China Life Property & Casualty Insurance to develop dedicated insurance products for quadruped robots.

The partnership aims to drive innovation in smart equipment by rolling out customized insurance solutions. Leveraging professional financial risk management, the collaboration seeks to safeguard the commercial rollout of quadruped robots and establish a new model for risk coverage in the industry.

Positioning itself as a pioneer in China’s embodied AI sector, Astrall Dynamics is deeply focused on the R&D and deployment of quadruped robots. Its products boast core advantages such as an 80 kg all-terrain payload capacity and 8-hour ultra-long endurance, making them widely applicable in critical scenarios ranging from power transmission inspection and park patrols to emergency rescue and police security.
