SERES Group Chairman Zhang Xinghai said the company has always treated safety as a core product value, with network and data security serving as the bedrock for user protection and corporate growth. He expressed hope that deeper collaboration will embed security capabilities throughout the product lifecycle, strengthening the foundation through technology.

Qianxin Group Chairman Qi Xiangdong noted that SERES’ technical strength and safety philosophy in the intelligent connected new energy vehicle sector align closely with Qianxin’s mission. As AI accelerates its integration with the auto industry, security has become a critical baseline for development, he emphasized. Qi expressed hope that by building “communities of defense, development, and mission,” the two sides can leverage the laboratory to construct a robust security protection system.

Under the agreement, the partners will focus on deep collaboration to build a unified security framework spanning the entire business chain of intelligent connected new energy vehicles. Priority areas include cybersecurity capabilities, cutting-edge R&D, industrial ecosystem development, and professional talent training.

The newly established “Data Security Joint Innovation Laboratory” will focus on serving national strategies and industrial upgrades. It aims to create a “five-in-one” business matrix integrating R&D, standard-setting, commercialization, talent development, and ecosystem building. The lab is designed to provide security support for SERES’ full-scenario operations, with the goal of becoming a leading security innovation institution in the automotive sector.

The two companies stated that this signing serves as a starting point to continuously drive the integration of security technology and the automotive industry. The partnership aims to support the secure development of the intelligent connected new energy vehicle sector, bolstering the high-quality growth of the national digital economy and the new energy vehicle industry.
