Shiba Inu: New Ethereum Whale Accumulates 1,764,519 BONE in 5 Days
May 5, 2025
Javier Olmedo, a top Shiba Inu community member, highlights a new blockchain address that has been accumulating BONE tokens daily over the past five days.
In a tweet, Olmedo called the community’s attention to a new wallet accumulating BONE almost daily. This consistent accumulation signals a deliberate acquisition, with Olmedo suggesting that the wallet’s owner could be anticipating an upcoming event.
“Does he know something we don’t?” Olmedo quizzed.
At the time of the post, the Shiba Inu community member revealed that the new blockchain address contains over $500,000 worth of BONE.
On-Chain Data Confirms Steady Accumulation
Data from Etherscan also confirms that the new wallet recorded its first transaction on April 27, when it received 0.2 ETH. However, it made its first BONE purchase two days later, on April 29 at 08:43 p.m. (UTC). The unknown user purchased 1,644,001 (1.64 million) BONE in that transaction, currently worth $498,387.
The address acquired another 11,434 BONE tokens the following day. Since then, the wallet has accumulated 109,083 BONE daily. Its latest acquisition, 31,171 BONE, occurred yesterday.
Overall, the wallet accumulated 1,764,519 (1.76 million) Bone ShibaSwap tokens worth $532,177 in six transactions within five days.
Bot Purchase?
One interesting observation about the accumulation is that it happened almost at the same time each day. According to the blockchain data, the transactions, particularly those relating to BONE, usually occur between 08:42 p.m. and 08:43 p.m. (UTC) daily.
The timing pattern suggests that a bot executed these BONE purchases on behalf of the wallet’s owner. In the meantime, the blockchain address holds 34 crypto assets valued at approximately $29.38 million. BONE ranks as the tenth biggest token by dollar value in the portfolio.
Previous BONE Accumulation
Meanwhile, this is not the first time a blockchain wallet has consistently accumulated BONE tokens. Last month, Olmedo highlighted an unknown wallet that had been accumulating BONE tokens for over two years.
As of mid-April 2025, the wallet had amassed 237,311 BONE tokens. Fresh data from Etherscan suggests that the wallet has increased its BONE holdings by 2.23% since last month, as it currently holds 242,619 BONE tokens at press time.
The continuous accumulation of BONE by a few investors underscores growing confidence in the Shibarium gas fee token despite its recent underperformance. BONE is changing hands at $0.3009 per token, down 4.39% in 24 hours and 99.28% from its peak value of $41.67, registered on September 13, 2021.
