Snoqualmie’s Fireweed Cannabis Company to Celebrate One Year of Business on 4/20

April 11, 2025

Fireweed Cannabis Co., a retail cannabis store owned by the Above it All Corporation, a separate business entity of the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe, will celebrate its one-year anniversary of business on 4/20/25. The store will host a celebration from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Located at 37500 SE North Bend Way, Suite 2B, Snoqualmie, WA 98065, Fireweed first launched in 2024 to provide new economic opportunities to the Snoqualmie Tribe.

Since its opening in 2024, Fireweed Cannabis has retained much of its original staff, including multiple members of the Snoqualmie Tribe and other communities. Employees lead with the philosophy that cannabis flowers are fresh produce and should be treated as such, with respect and care.

Located next to the Snoqualmie Casino and Crescent Market, Fireweed serves the local Snoqualmie community and those who have traveled to experience the other Snoqualmie business enterprises. The opening of Fireweed has provided new economic opportunities for the tribe, which has been federally re-recognized since the late 1990s, following the loss of recognition in the 1950s.

“I am proud of how far we’ve come in one year of business,” said Robbie de los Angeles, store manager. “Fireweed is the place to hang out. Our staff knows our customers, our products are fresh, and the shopping experience is smooth. We are grateful to the local community for all of their support this last year and can’t wait to see what this next year brings.”

Owned by the Above It All Corporation, a wholly owned and operated separate business entity of the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe, Fireweed Cannabis had its grand opening on 4/20/2024. The Snoqualmie Indian Tribe is a federally recognized tribe of Coast Salish origin. The tribe’s ancestral lands span from the Snoqualmie Valley into the east King and Snohomish Counties, with the Snoqualmie Falls at the heart of its creation story.

The launch of Fireweed Cannabis comes ahead of a massive casino expansion, including a high-end hotel, an additional 11,000 square feet of gaming space, a full-service spa, a fitness center, a 2,000-seat entertainment and convention center, new onsite parking, and two new restaurants.
