The New York State Office of Cannabis Management has issued a recall for multiple adult-use cannabis products produced by IndoGrow LLC after testing revealed the presence of unapproved pesticides.
The products, sold through licensed dispensaries across the state, were initially quarantined due to concerns over testing validity from a previously approved laboratory. A re-test authorized by the Office found that nine product lots failed to meet safety standards.
Officials say the contaminated products pose a potential risk to public health. Consumers are urged to check with their dispensaries and follow recall instructions provided by the Office of Cannabis Management.
Dispensaries and distributors must cease distribution and sales of the affected products immediately. The products above may also go by names that may include Indi, Grow by Indi, Our Creation, and Grow with Us.
If you are a consumer who purchased any product lots indicated in the table, produced by IndoGrow LLC and you wish to return the recalled product, please contact the retail dispensary where you purchased these products. You can return a recalled product even if you have opened it.
