Student Symposium on the Environment
November 17, 2025
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — The Student Symposium for the Environment is an event hosted by the college as a way to engage students, members of the community, and high school students through their environmental projects and presentations. It happens at the beginning of December every year, and there is also an online portion of the Symposium.
Students can participate in a variety of ways, with opportunities for in-person presentations, artwork, and posters, as well as an online video showcase. All projects are eligible for awards in a multitude of categories, which a panel of volunteer judges will announce. These judges will be professionals in different parts of the Environmental field.
The Symposium is an amazing opportunity not just to showcase the projects but also for networking. With Alumni, other volunteers, and field professionals in attendance, students are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes.
This year’s Symposium on the Environment will take place on December 4, 2025, at the McKelvey Campus Center. Submissions for the Symposium are due by November 17, 2025.
