The theme for Sydney Sweeney’s 28th birthday party was space, and she really wasn’t playing around about it. She had a strict dress code, a NASA rocket as decoration, and a cake covered in stars and planets. As the pièce de résistance, Sweeney even invited someone who has been to space in order to add some authentic flavor to the affair. Sadly, Buzz Aldrin was busy, so Lauren Sánchez had to take up the mantle.

In an Instagram post about the party, Sweeney shared a photo of her and the new Mrs. Bezos looking chummy at her out-of-this-world party. Both women opted for silver minidresses, Sweeney’s adorned with stars and Sánchez’s more of a plain, reflective situation. The children’s-book author also wore a big pair of sunglasses, which are sort of reminiscent of aliens, I guess. It seems like no one could really decide if the theme was realistic space or sci-fi/Star Wars, so she gets a pass.

Sweeney and Sánchez have been pals for a while. They were photographed together in March, when they both attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party. They must have really hit it off, because in June, Sweeney was in Venice for the Bezos-Sánchez wedding. Now they’re close enough that Sánchez is getting her own slide in Sweeney’s birthday photo dump. (There are also rumors that Sweeney is launching a Bezos and Sánchez–backed line of lingerie, which probably helps to score a birthday invite.)

Also on the guest list for Sweeney’s party were Sexyy Red, Glen Powell, Wiz Khalifa, and lots of Sweeney’s non-famous friends. You know who was absent from her post? Her rumored situationship, Scooter Braun, whom the actress reportedly met at Sánchez’s wedding. To make up for it, there are several other random middle-age white guys in there, including Ashton Kutcher and Diplo. It’s a shame Bezos himself didn’t show — he already has the perfect outfit.
