Telles launches Powering Hubs for clean energy

March 6, 2025

Telles, in collaboration with RdA Climate Solutions and the Association of Energy and Environment Agencies (RNAE), is developing a new European project called Powering Energy Hubs (PEH). Led by the Porto Energy Agency (AdE Porto), the project aims to accelerate investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy production across public and private buildings and infrastructure.

With the objective of leveraging investments of 26.3 million euros and achieving primary energy savings of 58.5 GWh/year, PEH also aims to increase energy literacy, alleviate energy poverty and contribute to a just, democratic and solidarity-based transition, promoting the decarbonisation of the energy sector. This project is based on the tools and knowledge gained from Porto Energy ElevatoR (PEER), in which Telles also participated, states the firm. PEH replicates the model and extends its scope of action.

Telles’ energy and natural resources team, led by partner Ivone Rocha (pictured), is responsible for providing legal advice on the implementation of the project, which involves highly complex legal aspects. “We are proud to be involved in projects that reflect its ongoing commitment to sustainability, innovation and social responsibility. We believe that initiatives such as this are fundamental to moving towards a greener and more sustainable future”, states the firm.
