The Game Awards streams on Prime Video, confirms Twitch drops

November 11, 2025

The Game Awards will stream live on Prime Video for the first time in the award show’s history, organisers have revealed, alongside the confirmation of new Twitch Drops over on Twitch.tv.

That means viewers have yet another option to watch the show when it kicks off from 12.00 pm AEDT on 12 December here in Australia.

“We’re thrilled to bring our global celebration of video games to even more audiences with the addition of Prime Video,” said Geoff Keighley, creator and CEO of The Game Awards. “We’re honored to have Amazon stand alongside so many other entertainment technology companies as partners to our show.”

Organisers also confirmed that Twitch will stream the event in 1440p for the first time, and will offer Twitch Drops for viewers who spectate for 30 minutes or more.

“Details on this year’s Drops campaign will be revealed closer to the event.”

Finally, a Game Awards Amazon shop also features as part of the event, “featuring special deals and offers on games, hardware, and accessories from now through December 31, 2025”. You can access that storefront here.
