This Samsung phone was criminally underrated in 2025, and now it’s $411 OFF during Amazon’

The Galaxy S25 Edge didn’t get a fair shake last year, but this discount might give the phone new life.

Ultra-sleek and absurdly thin, the Galaxy S25 Edge was released last year to some considerable critical acclaim and a somewhat muted response from consumers. In an otherwise excellent year for Samsung, the lightweight Edge became largely forgotten, which is bad news for the Korean OEM but great news for deal hunters.

As part of its sitewide New Year sale, Amazon is slashing a straight 34% off the unlocked Galaxy S25 Edge in the Titanium JetBlack color variant, knocking the price of the phone down to $809. If you have an old or broken device lying around, you can also trade it in to Amazon and enjoy an additional $600 in the form of a gift card.

Head to Amazon during the big New Year sale for an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge 512GB and you’ll score a straight 34% off your purchase, no strings attached. This particular discount is only available for the Titanium JetBlack variant, but you can also enjoy a 26% discount if you prefer the other versions of the phone. The 256GB configuration is also selling for as little as $779.99 at Amazon, but I consider the 512GB to be the better value here.

The Galaxy S25 Edge made a serious impression on me when the phone was first introduced last summer, mostly because I couldn’t believe that Samsung was able to pack so much power into such a small device. The Edge is driven by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset that powers the rest of the S25 lineup (including the premium S25 Ultra), plus you get 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage in a frame that measures just 5.8mm thick.

The Samsung phone also boasts a flagship-quality 200MP main camera, a spacious 6.7-inch AMOLED display, and seven years of guaranteed OS and security upgrades. And again, the phone is ridiculously light, clocking in at just 163 grams.

So what’s the problem? Well, Samsung had to sacrifice battery size to make the Edge as thin as possible, so while most folks won’t notice the difference with day-to-day use, the limitations of a 3,900mAh battery might have rubbed shoppers the wrong way. The Edge is also limited to 25W wired charging, which falls well behind the 45W charging support offered by the S25 Plus and S25 Ultra.

Samsung also fell into its own trap by releasing quite a few thin devices in 2025. It seems like most folks were happy to tack on another couple of millimeters if it meant that they could have a few more hours of battery life. Last but not least, with a starting price of over $1,000 for the 256GB phone, the Galaxy S25 Edge had a bit of a price problem.

Fortunately, bad news for Samsung spells good news for you, as the Galaxy S25 Edge has been repeatedly discounted for months at sites like Amazon and Best Buy. The phone is sure to get even cheaper when the spring sales roll around, but if you want an ultra-sleek smartphone today, this Amazon deal presents an awesome opportunity.
