Michelle Lujan Grisham to be signed, which is a sure thing.”House Bill 10 delivers enforcement tools to help our state crack down on illegal cannabis operations while protecting legitimate businesses,” Grisham said. “I look forward to signing this bill and strengthening the foundation of our regulated cannabis industry.” The bill funds the hiring of seven specially trained law officers to investigate and, if warranted, bring charges against those who don’t comply with cannabis licensing laws.House Speaker Javier Martínez, a co-sponsor, said, “Now, we are enhancing our enforcement capabilities so we can weed out any bad actors who are not following our rules, protect consumers, and enable reputable cannabis businesses to thrive.”
