October 27, 2025
JACKSON, Tenn. — An auto parts manufacturer is pushing forward their ‘zero waste’ initiatives here in the Hub City.
Toyota Boshoku is inducted into the Tennessee Green Star partnership during their ‘Zero Waste Tennessee’ welcoming ceremony. It’s a prestigious program sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.
This recognition highlights Toyota Boshoku commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. This auto parts manufacturer is one of three establishments here locally with the Tennessee Green Star partnership.
“It’s great to partner with TDEC and be recognized as a Green Star partner. We’re really committed to reducing our landfill usage and that’s been the focus today as we hosted the recycling event. We were initiated today so it’s great to get that flag in our official certificate that we’re a part of that Green Star initiative,” said Brian Freeman, general manager of administration for Toyota Boshoku Tennessee.
The entire team is looking forward to upcoming regional and global environmental recognition in the near future.
