Toyotetsu de Mexico marked a decade of operations in Guanajuato with a cumulative investment exceeding US$187 million and the creation of more than 1,000 jobs, reinforcing its role within the automotive industry in the Bajio region.
The company established itself in Apaseo el Grande, consolidating its presence as a key supplier within the automotive supply chain, with an operation that drives the integration of local suppliers and strengthens the state’s competitiveness in global markets.
The plant’s location allows Toyotetsu to leverage the logistics connectivity of the Bajio, a region that has positioned itself as one of Mexico’s leading automotive clusters.
The company’s growth aligns with Guanajuato’s industrial dynamism, where the automotive sector remains one of the main economic drivers. The presence of international suppliers strengthens the productive base and expands opportunities for local companies.
Toyotetsu’s establishment in Apaseo el Grande reflects the Bajio region’s capacity to sustain long-term industrial projects, at a time when Mexico is strengthening its position within global automotive manufacturing chains.
