Two charged after cocaine and cannabis found in south Essex house

OFFICERS investigating the sale of cocaine in Rochford have secured charges against two people after searching an address. 

Officers carried out a warrant at an address in the town on Thursday morning and found a quantity of cocaine and cannabis inside.

A man and a woman were arrested and have now both been charged.

Breda Samson, 69, of Rochford Garden Way, Rochford, was charged with:

  • Possession with intent to supply a Class A drugs;

  • Being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs;

  • Possession with intent to supply Class B drug;

  • Acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property.

Philip Wilkopp, 37, of no fixed address was charged with:

  • Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs;

  • Being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs;

  • Acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property.

They both appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 4 and are next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on May 2.
