Walworth, N.Y. — Two men have been charged with manufacturing and possessing with intent to distribute thousands of marijuana plants in Wayne County following a multi-agency investigation.

In January, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) began investigating a large-scale illegal marijuana cultivation operation on Daansen Road in Walworth after a complaint was filed, according to prosecutors.

Investigators reportedly determined Ferrydoon Ardehali, 55, of Staten Island, and Colby Riggle, 37, of California, were running the operation under the name “Integrity Farms & Greenhouses, Inc.” and selling cannabis to several authorized growing facilities in New York, including in North Tonawanda, Niagara County and Clarence, Erie County.

Integrity Farms & Greenhouses was reportedly never issued a state license to grow marijuana.

Prosecutors said a search warrant was executed on the Walworth property Wednesday, when investigators seized roughly 29,406 marijuana plants and 3,700 pounds of processed marijuana.

If convicted, Ardehali and Riggle face up to 10 years in prison.
