Two Individuals Accused of Trafficking Cannabis in Grundy Co.

The Grundy County Proactive Unit arrested two men earlier this month. A Grundy County grand jury last week indicted Alexander Morgan, 29, of Tama, Iowa and Joseph Youngbear, 32, of Ankenny, Iowa for cannabis trafficking and for the unlawful possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver more than 5000 grams, both class X felonies and for the unlawful possession of more than 5000 grams of cannabis, both class one felonies.
Both individuals were pulled over by Grundy County Proact Units for a turn signal violation near Route 47 and George Street in Morris around 6 p.m. on May 11th. A probable cause search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 6,541 grams of cannabis flower, THC products and 1 gram of suspected LSD. Both individuals remain lodged in the Grundy County Jail.
