Two Individuals Indicted on Cannabis Related Charges in Grundy Co.

Two accused cannabis dealers were indicted by a Grundy County grand jury last week.

Archie Bradfield, 47, of Alpha, Illinois and Lanea Dixon, 41, of Galesburg were charged with Manufacturing and Delivering between 500 and 2000 grams of cannabis, both class two felonies and for the Unlawful Possession of between 500 and 2000 grams of cannabis, both class three felonies.

Both individuals were arrested by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office on the cannabis charges as well as Resisting a Police Officer on Interstate 80 near Morris around 10:20 p.m. on April 29th.

Police officials say 1800 grams of nearly four pounds of cannabis was inside the vehicle at the time. Both individuals were transported to the Grundy County Jail and later released on pretrial conditions.
