Two men have been charged after cannabis worth about £360,000 was seized by police in Perth.

Officers searched an address on Crieff Road after receiving a tip-off and discovered a large number of plants.

The men, aged 28 and 23, were arrested and charged in connection with drug offences and are expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday.

Det Insp Gary Lamb said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and significant recoveries such as this highlights the work being carried out to tackle serious and organised crime.”
