US fintech Vinyl Equity secures $20m in Series A fundraise
June 10, 2026
US-based financial infrastructure provider and transfer agent Vinyl Equity has bagged $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Jump Capital.
The round also saw participation from repeat backers Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Infinity Ventures, and Cambrian Fintech, as well as new investor MUFG Innovation Partners, the corporate venture capital arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group.
Vinyl Equity has now raised over $30 million in total funding to date after the start-up landed $11.5 million in its seed round in April 2025.
Founded in 2022, Vinyl Equity provides infrastructure technology for capital markets and corporate transactions. Its offering is built to improve accuracy, auditability, and control across shareholder recordkeeping, equity operations, paying agency, and transaction workflows in private and public markets.
The platform integrates compliant payments, KYC/KYB controls, tax filing, and fraud prevention while connecting with equity plan administrators via APIs to eliminate manual reconciliation and settlement delays across the entire capital markets ecosystem.
With the new funds, Vinyl Equity states it plans to further develop its infrastructure offering and expand its engineering, compliance, and go-to-market teams.
