Watertown Fire Rescue Responds to Two-Vehicle Accident

KXLG, Watertown, SD At approximately 11:15 AM on May 9th, Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched to a two-vehicle injury accident with reported entrapment.
The accident was a T-bone style collision involving two pickup trucks with significant damage to both vehicles. A green 1979 single cab Chevrolet pickup was traveling westbound on 176th Street and collided with a white 2004 four door GMC pickup traveling southbound on 458th Avenue.
The two occupants were transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital for evaluation.
Engine 1, Medic 3, and Medic 1 responded from Station 1. Engine 1 crew cleaned up debris and fluids. Other agencies on scene included Codington County Sherriff’s Department, South Dakota Highway Patrol, and Performance Towing.
