WESTPORT, Conn. (WFSB) – A New York man was arrested following a Westport smoke shop investigation on Tuesday.

According to the Westport Police Department, officers were conducting a search warrant at Savvy Smoker following an investigation into non-licensed cannabis sales and complaints of sales to minors.

After a thorough investigation, police were able to seize pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes, canisters of THC flower, THC resin products, THC vape cartridges, and THC edible products.

Officials confirmed sales associate, 24-year-old Mohemed Zeine Hedimy of Brooklyn, New York was placed under arrest.

He is facing a charge of illegal sale/manufacture of cannabis.

This investigation is ongoing at this time.

Authorities said they are anticipating more arrests.
