As some of the largest carbon-emitting companies, scheduled air carriers have a few different roles to play when it comes to protecting the environment. Recently, Simple Flying discussed Delta Air Lines’ efforts to support marine conservation across the globe, including a partnership with a non-profit organization in Chile. This leads to a bigger and more interesting question: What role do airlines have to play in environmental conservation?
