You brought a list of stocks that you like and I’m noticing that most of them are in the mega cap realm. So talk to us about that and your your investing career. How’d you get started here?

00:10 Speaker B

Okay, so I originally got started investing under a custodial account, so I was able to start uh before I turned 18. and then once I was 18, I was able to become uh more independent in my investing. And yes, I did choose a lot of those uh large cap stocks because I am a long-term investor and I really wanted to focus on those that I thought demonstrated strong profitability, but also past performance. So that

So just to name names like Alphabet, uh Microsoft, Nvidia, those guys.

00:46 Speaker B

Mhm, exactly. So I focus on those and then of course, index funds as well to diversify, but I really like Nvidia. Uh I really really like the tech sector and I’m really interested in exploring more uh into the AI realm and what stocks I can choose to help build out my portfolio but have higher growth earning potential because of AI and how it’s just such a growing explosive industry.

And we’ve been hearing so much about this, this potential bubble risk within the market. Do you feel like young investors are just so hungry, willing to take on that risk, it seems?

01:29 Speaker B

I think I think so. I think that the rise of retail investing through the democratization of financial literacy, whether that’s through social media, uh awesome shows like this, etcetera, is getting more people excited about investing and more people are willing to take those risks. But I would also say that I always focus on maxing out my Roth IRA first and then with the money left over, I’m willing to experiment into some more risky positions.
