As concerns grow among central banks about the stability of traditional reserves, particularly the US dollar, some are considering alternative assets such as bitcoin, with the Czech National Bank at the forefront. Others regard blockchain-based assets with scepticism, citing risks. Clearly, bitcoin won’t be widely used as a reserve immediately.
