Billionaire Jeff Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, are said to be gearing up for a summer wedding, sources have claimed. Speaking to MailOnline, insiders close to the couple said the ceremony has been ‘inked in’ with invitations on their way to guests. They added: ‘You won’t miss this one when it happens,’ alluding to an extravagant event fit for one of the world’s richest couples.

Earlier reports had suggested it would be a ‘winter wonderland wedding’ but the insider firmly shut down those rumours. With a net worth of $240 billion, it has been suggested that the wedding was delayed by intense prenup talks, but friends of Sanchez denied that claim to MailOnline.

Now, it is believed the couple will marry in a destination wedding in one of the many high-flying venues in Europe, though no location has been revealed as yet. The source told how Sanchez has already bought an Oscar de la Renta wedding dress for what will be her second wedding, following an acrimonious split from businessman Patrick Whitesell.

The couple announced their engagement in May 2023, and at the time, celebrated with a lavish party on their superyacht. The guests included Queen Rania of Jordan, Bill Gates and Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as Barbra Streisand, Robert Pattinson, Suki Waterhouse and Miranda Kerr, though it’s yet to be seen who will attend the wedding later this year.
