XRP Price Forecast: Will It Outshine Bitcoin & Ethereum in 2025?

In the last one year, the XRP market has experienced a significant rise of 257.9%. During the period, Bitcoin has surged by just 20.8%, and Ethereum has dropped by over 46.6%. A cryptocurrency analyst, identified as Dark Defender, predicts that XRP will outperform Bitcoin and Ethereum in the future. Here is everything you should know.
An X post by crypto analysts clearly explains why he thinks XRP would outperform BTC and ETH in the near future.
Firstly, the post emphasises that unlike BTC and ETH, XRP has regulatory clarity. In a sensational judgement, Judge Analisa earlier declared that XRP is not a security. Moreover, the long-standing legal battle between Ripple and the US Securities and Exchange Commission recently met a positive conclusion, when the crypto company announced its plan to withdraw a cross-appeal against the regulator.
Secondly, the post hints that there is a chance for XRP to be included in the US Digital Asset stockpile. US President Donald Trump recently created a crypto stockpile through an executive order.
Thirdly, the post notes that an XRP Spot ETF will be approved by the US SEC soon. Polymarket bettors suggest that there is a 84% probability for an XRP Spot ETF to be approved in 2025.
Fourthly, the post also highlights that Ripple is planning to launch new stablecoins soon. This move could increase the demand for XRP.
Dark Defender opines that a bullish rectangle pattern has been formed in the XRP market. The formation of this pattern in the market indicates that the market is preparing for a bull run. The analyst predicts that the price could reach as high as $11 once the market breaks the pattern.
Another analyst Javon Marks supports the optimistic outlook of Dark Defender. He forecasts that as both price action and the RSI show bullish signals, the price of XRP could rise by over 570%.
The RSI value of XRP currently stands at 42.90. This indicates that there is more room for growth in the market.
However, not every analyst agrees with the outlook of Dark Defender and Javon Marks about the future of the XRP market.
Acclaimed trader Peter Brandt believes that a head-and-shoulders pattern is forming in the XRP market. The formation of this pattern means that there is a high probability for a price drop in the market.
Brandt warns that if the XRP price drops below the $1.90 level, the market could plummet to a low of $1.07.
