You don’t have to wait — the best October Prime Day early deals are already live

October 3, 2025

Amazon’s October Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days, is less than a week away — this year it runs from Oct. 7 to 8, and, like years’ past, it’s exclusive to Prime members. But that doesn’t mean you should wait to shop. The retailer is dropping new early deals daily from some of our favorite brands like Apple, Neutrogena and Shark. And if you check out soon, you’ll get the exact size, style or model you’re looking for, which is especially important if you’re starting to buy gifts for loved ones.

I frequently cover shopping events like Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday as a writer for NBC Select, so I know how to find deals that are actually worth buying. I combed through thousands of discounts to find the best early October Prime Day deals — each one I recommend below is highly rated and 20% off or more, as well as at its lowest price in at least three months or lowest price ever. I’ll frequently update this list leading up to Prime Big Deal Days.

Stream your favorite shows, movies, music and more from any TV when you plug this Fire Stick into an HDMI port. It comes with an Alexa Voice Remote, letting you adjust settings via voice commands, and it displays pictures in vibrant HD. You can also use the Fire Stick to control compatible smart home devices like thermostats, cameras and lights.

Keep this handheld vacuum on hand at home for small messes, or use it to clean your car. It’s lightweight at only 1.4 pounds, and it comes with a charging dock, duster crevice tool and multi-surface pet hair tool. You empty the Wandvac by holding it over a trash can and pressing a button, which pops the dustbin open to discards debris.

“Magna-Tiles are without a doubt the number one toy students fought over at school when I was a pre-school teacher,” says NBC Select editorial projects manager Rebecca Rodriguez. This set comes with 40 multi-colored pieces, including four dinosaur figurines. The pieces are compatible with Magna-Tiles from other sets, too.

Cerave’s fragrance-free eye cream is made with vitamin C to brighten dark under eyes and caffeine to reduce puffiness, plus hyaluronic acid and ceramides to moisturize skin, according to the brand. It has a lightweight, non-sticky, non-greasy feel that quickly absorbs into skin, and is safe for those who wear contacts, according to Cerave. The brand recommends using it twice daily.

Ecolution’s Micro-Pop is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets because it helps me make fresh, warm popcorn in minutes (trust me, it’s way better than the store-bought stuff). You add kernels to the built-in measuring cup on the lid, pour them into the bowl and place it in the microwave for about three minutes. You can also put butter on top of the lid, which has holes in it; as the butter melts in the microwave, it drips onto the popcorn. The 3-quart, dishwasher-safe popper has a wide opening, so once it cools down, it doubles as a serving bowl.

This serum helps reduce the look of dark spots, even out your skin tone and smooth fine lines and wrinkles with consistent use, according to the brand. It has a light texture and is safe for all skin types, according to Eucerin, plus you can use it day or night.

Oral-B’s electric toothbrush has all the features dentists told me to look for while shopping: a pressure sensor, a built-in timer, multiple cleaning settings and a brush head change alert. The rechargeable toothbrush comes with two replacement brush heads and a travel case.

This corded upright vacuum, which is suitable for all floor types, has a detachable pod you can tote around your home to clean above doorframes, under furniture,on top of upholstery and on stairs. Its HEPA filter traps dust and other allergens while it suctions up debris, and its LED headlights illuminate dirt so you don’t miss spots. The vacuum comes with crevice and upholstery tools.

See, hear and speak to visitors with this video doorbell. It pairs with Ring’s app, which shows you HD livestream footage (including in color night vision) and sends you alerts when the device detects people, packages or motion. The doorbell is powered by a removable, rechargeable battery, so there’s no electrical work required for setup, and it comes with mounting tools, too.

Plug devices like fans, air purifiers and small kitchen appliances into this smart plug to control them via the Amazon Alexa app or voice commands. The app also lets you set up schedules, timers and routines for your devices. The plug is compact, so it won’t block your second outlet.

This Bluetooth speaker may be small, but it’s loud enough to fill a room with sound whether you’re listening to music, a podcast or an audiobook. It has Amazon Alexa built-in, so you can use voice commands to ask questions, set timers and reminders, control compatible smart home devices and more. I keep my Echo Pop in my bedroom and ask Alexa about the weather while I’m getting dressed every day. The device has volume control buttons, as well as a button to turn the microphone off.

Dry skin season is upon us now that the temperatures are dropping, so adding more hydrating products to your routine might be beneficial. This lightweight, no-rinse mask creates a barrier over your skin to lock in moisture overnight. It’s made with ingredients like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, which leave your skin feeling smoother and looking more plump after use, according to the brand.

You get a Kindle Paperwhite, fabric cover and wireless charging dock with this bundle, covering all your essentials if you’re getting your first e-reader or upgrading. The Paperwhite has a 7-inch glare-free screen and a 12-week battery life, according to the brand, plus its front light automatically adjusts to whatever environment you’re in. It’s also water-resistant, so you can read at the beach, pool or in the bath. The cover that’s included with this bundle attaches to your e-reader, waking it up or putting it to sleep as you open and close it like a book.

The Blink Mini 2 is one of my favorite security cameras because it’s so small — it blends into my space instead of being an eyesore. You can use it indoors and outdoors, and it connects to the Blink app, where you can livestream HD footage, hear audio and speak to people and pets. The camera also has a built-in spotlight, and you can use it as a plug-in chime with Blink Video Doorbells (which are also currently on sale). The app sends you motion detection alerts, too.

Keurig makes some of our favorite single-serve coffee makers, and this one is a particularly good option if you have limited countertop space due to its compact size. Still, it has all the important features, like a strong brew mode, three cup sizes and a removable reservoir that holds enough water to make multiple beverages. You can also remove the machine’s drip tray to fit travel mugs underneath the spout. The K-Express is compatible with all types of K-Cups, many of which are also currently on sale.

Air purifiers like this one can remove tiny airborne particles from your home, like allergens, dust, smoke, bacteria and pet hair. The Blueair 311i connects to WiFi and pairs with the brand’s app, letting you adjust its mode (auto or night), fan speed, brightness and child lock setting, as well as track filter usage, air quality and more. The appliance is best for medium rooms and it responds to voice commands, too.

Take your hair from wet to dry to styled with this hot tool, which regulates its temperature to prevent heat damage, according to the brand. It also has a scalp shield mode that lowers the air temperature when you’re drying your roots. The SpeedStyle is lightweight and it has a folding handle, making it compact and travel-friendly. It comes with multiple attachments, including a concentrator, diffuser and frizz fighting tool — when you add an attachment, the tool automatically adjusts its heat and airflow level accordingly (you can manually change settings, too).

How I found the best early October Prime Day deals

All of my recommendations above are based on NBC Select’s previous coverage and reporting. I ran each deal through price trackers like CamelCamelCamel to ensure products are at their lowest price in three months or lowest price ever. All the products I recommend are 20% off or more and highly rated with at least a 4.0-star average rating from hundreds of reviews.
