ARI’s integration into Meta reflects a conviction shared by the founding team that the path to physical AGI runs through humanoid form factors and learning directly from human experience — rather than through teleoperation alone. The company concluded, through deep customer engagements and real-world deployments, that serving the scale of opportunity ahead required infrastructure and ecosystem capabilities beyond what an independent startup could assemble.
