Lawyers for New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez told a judge Tuesday that Meta Platforms should be required to enable age-verification measures with 99 percent accuracy to keep children under age 13 off its apps, as they began to make the case for a court-appointed compliance monitor and a 90-hour monthly cap on the use of Facebook and Instagram for New Mexico teens.
